Is Chiropractic Safe After Spinal Surgery? Can You Get a Chiropractic Adjustment If You Had Spinal Surgery? Will chiropractic help after spinal surgery? What
should you do after spinal surgery? If you have had spinal surgery what you should do next? People ask, "So how would chiropractic be able to help with that (a fused spine)". Most people say that as soon as you've had spine surgery then you can never adjust it again the opposite is true once you've had that spine fused and there are very few signals traveling to the brain anymore in terms of proprioception being generated from the receptors in the spine it's more important than ever that you adjust that spine you can adjust you can trigger receptors you can get messages to the brain many many ways except with an osseous full-force adjustment you don't have to twist and pop someone to make an adjustment so if you use instruments if you use an arthrostim or an activator then you can still adjust and you can put pressure on muscles and joints and tendons and you can activate those signal pathways even if there is no motion in the joint itself so there's a huge misunderstanding about what an adjustment is and when it's appropriate to do an adjustment it's not about the bone it's about the brain so when you've had a fusion it's more important than EVER to get adjusted but make sure that the person knows how to do a low force instrument adjustment and that they know what they're talking about

Dr. Ekberg believes that the body is an eco-system with a built-in tendency for homeostasis and health. An eco-system cannot be forced into "compliance" which explains why drugs are never a long-term solution. The body will heal itself if the interference is removed and the deficiency is corrected.
Dr. Ekberg is a former NCAA, div 1 champion and Olympic decathlete in track and field who has always been interested in finding better ways to do things. After his athletic career he has devoted the last 15 years to finding out how to get closer to the potential of the body and mind. He draws on his vast experience in health and performance to help others enhance their health.
Dr. Ekberg uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Ekberg is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. His mission is to enhance lives by teaching anyone who wants to learn what health really is and how you can take responsibility for the miraculous Mind-Body-Spirit that is YOU.
